Here is what some famous people would have said about waking up for an 8:00 A.M. class, if they had thought about it:
–ALBERT EINSTEIN: The amount of energy expended in waking up in the morning can be determined by multiplying the mass of the classes you had yesterday by the number of classes you have today, divided by the number of hours of sleep you got last night—and adding the speed of light for no good reason.
–FREDERICH NIETZSCHE: The truly powerful man doesn’t need to wake up. He has someone else to do it for him.
–ALBERT CAMUS: Why wake up? You’re just going to die.
–BILL CLINTON: What do you mean by “wake up?”
–CONFUCIUS: Do not wake if you mean merely to go back to sleep. on the other hand, do not go to sleep if you will not wake up. Is anyone writing this down?
–BUDDHA: How can you ever know that you are really getting up and not just dreaming that you’re getting up?
–DENNIS RODMAN: *#*%%#$!
–SALVADOR DALI: Please help me. My eyes have turned to spiders, and I am melting.
